Sara is the music specialist at NeSmith Elementary in Community ISD where she is beginning her 7th year in public education. Sara received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Louisiana State University, Orff certification from Southern Methodist University and attended the Dagbe Cultural Institute in Ghana, West Africa for Ewe dancing and drumming study in 2010.
She is also an active clinician/presenter, having recently presented poster sessions at TMEA and OAKE, as well as a clinic at a North Texas AOSA chapter meeting. She will be presenting at HEB ISD elementary music staff development in Fall 2011.
