About Our Clinician

Ashley Brown Woodside is dedicated to exploring the intersection of dance and music. Her childhood home doubled as a thriving dance studio and she received training in both dance and music from a young age. Ashley is a saxophone, clarinet and flute player who holds a BS in Music Education from Syracuse University and a MA in Liberal Studies from Manhattanville College.  She completed her Orff Levels Certification and Master Classes at the San Francisco Orff Course. Ashley was the Movement teacher at The Hartt School Orff Schulwerk Teacher Training course in Connecticut and is now the Movement teacher at the San Jose State University Orff Levels Course. In addition to presenting workshops to schools and chapters nationally and abroad, she now enjoys working with instrumental students at The Key School in Annapolis, MD and teaching Orff Schulwerk Music and Movement and Montessori Elementary General Education at The Tidewater School in southern Maryland.
